About Rock Steady Boxing 615 EmPower

Rock Steady Boxing 615 EmPower is excited to bring this non-contact, boxing-inspired Parkinson's fitness program to the West Nashville area! Recent studies have shown that intense exercise programs may be "neuroprotective", actually working to slow the progression and, in some cases, reverse symptoms of Parkinson’s Disease.

Rock Steady Boxing classes are designed to be fun, combining an exercise and movement program within a social atmosphere. The program comprises of non-contact boxing skills and functional fitness training to enhance balance, strength, endurance, agility, and hand-eye coordination. As an Original Strength Certified Coach and Certified Yoga Instructor as well, I also include plenty of mobility work that is designed to help with flexibility, range of motion, gait, and posture.

All participants receive an individual initial assessment to establish a baseline of your abilities. Classes are designed so that all person's needs are met from the newly diagnosed to the person living with the many effects of Parkinson's.

No boxing experience is necessary and people of all ages and skill levels (from the beginner to the advanced) are invited to participate. Boxers, both male and female, range in age from mid-30’s to early 90’s. Caretakers are welcome as well! Call or email today and let's fight back against Parkinson's together!
